If you are a street rider who wants to go off-road or maybe you just want to experience off-road for the first time, this weekend will get you there. This two day workshop is designed for riders with limited off-road experience and complete beginners.

You can attend one or both days. The course happens at one of Northern California’s premier off-road riding spots, Hollister Hills State Vehicle Recreation Area ( SVRA ). The park offers a track and a wide range or trials, plus it's easy to get to. The class will give you a solid grounding in basic techniques required to handle challenging terrain. Lack of confidence breeds fear. Whether it’s log jumping, hill climbing, or navigating rocks and mud, by understanding and mastering a few key ideas, you can go from up-tight and timid to fast, relaxed and in control. Are you complete beginner? By the end of this weekend you won’t be!

Don’t have an off-road bike? We’ve got one for you.
Maybe you’re a street rider wanting to experience off-road. Or a complete novice ready to climb on a bike for the first time. Let us know. We can provide you with off-road bike and gear.

Time: 9am-3pm
Where: Hollister Hills SVRA(parking vintage track)
When: March 8th & 9th
contact:brian@garrahanoffroad.com

One Day: $200

Two Days: $300

So pretty late here, but I'm curious what kind of bikes folks ride at a place like Hollister Hills, 150cc dirt bikes, bigger dual sports, big adventure bikes?

You'll see all kinds of different bikes out there but mostly MX and trail bikes. Between May 31st and Oct 1st, red sticker bikes can't be ridden there.
