I know the Cannister is just a waste of space and weight... but never really thought that the cannister could make that much more HP or that big of weight savings by removing them... just my 2cents...
I hear ya. I took mine off for the sole reason it was just hanging out there in mid air on the monster.

95' Verese 916 with a few "mods"

Have you ridden it with unwrapped exhaust as well? Does the wrap make a noticeable heat difference? My right leg gets "well done" in the summer...

I rode it for some time without the wrap. I couldn't stand the heat on my thigh and leg, especially yeah in the summer. The wrap makes an incredible difference, also helps prevent your electrical components from premature wear, and your plastic parts. That wrap is about 5 years old and still looks that nice. I've wrapped alot of cars and bikes, and never had problems so I would say go for it!
