By who? If Valentino Rossi rode around in shorts and a t-shirt, would you call him a squid? The term "squid" comes from "squirrely kid" and I heard that term to describe surfers, long before I ever heard it used to describe a young motorcyclist who has more money than brains and rides like shit. It's annoying as hell that it is now used to describe people that ride with a lack of what the observer feels is "proper equipment". It has nothing to do with that and I'm not sure when the turning point of the description was but I wish it'd go back to the original meaning.
I'm sure that after riding a MotoGP bike at the limits, riding on the street feels like a piece of piss. Skill doesn't exempt you from the laws of physics, but they're living the life, so I doubt they care.

I have come to the conclusion that the Scrambler is a brilliant engine in an adequate chassis with some nifty styling bits. Also, high-temp rattlecan on the exhaust covers looks pretty decent.
Picked it up not too long ago, arguably the most beautiful bike I've owned to date. Pretty sure I've logged more minutes drooling over it than miles riding it so far.
