Open pipes. Stretched swingarm. Unrideable. Sucks.

I'd rock a CBX in a heartbeat if you'd done something that was realistic.

Plus - it looks like an ad for your shop for your first post. Bummer.

For a custom, I kind of like it. It's not completely over the top like most, and someone actually did some internal work on it(!!!), not just a coat of paint and chrome everything.

ScottRNelson: how do you know it's stretched?

Seeing as how I'll never be able to ride it, it looks good from here.

I need a sound file, must hear that I6 on full song.

Oh very much this. Hell I loved mine even with the stock cans on.

Anyone who's never twisted the throttle on a CBX has really missed out on something special.

Well with six small diameter straight pipes my guess is that it isn't going to sound very good. The Moto Guzzi V8 is very similar but sounds pretty much like a 1940s boat, not that good.

I'd still love to hear it. A popular system a lot of CBX owners put on was some Australian made 6 into 6 thing that sounded pretty awesome.

Agree on both counts.

Maybe I'll reserve judgement until I hear it but it's likely to sound like 6 Briggs and Stratons with a water pipe exhaust.

soooooo ... gonna enter the Dirtbag challenge with that this year?

Wot he said... :laughing
A stock 1979 with stock pipes would be far more interesting for me. :afm199
The only modded one I ever liked was an RC Replica with six tuned megaphones... :cool

Put some high handlebars (dirt bike height), and let's see how far I can wheelie it. And more girls with bikinis.
