PACC & BARF Present: Rediscovering Pakistan - The Untold Tale

Except for Budman and Ho Ho who chose the back row dead center aisle premium PACC elite VIP seating area. :p

:laughing

I've never been accused of being smart, Budman. :laughing

Too bad I wasn't one of the documentary superstars who got to sit in the front row. :rofl

The shirt should have qualified you IMO.

They told me I could sit in front, but I chose not to since I wasn't actually in the documentary. I figure I will see it again on Thursday at the Piston and Chain anyway. :) Thanks for coming out, Budman. It was great to see you, as always. :thumbup

I liked the documentary. It is hard to cram two weeks of adventure in to 50 minute film, but I think Moin did a good job with it. Judging by few laughs I think audience had a good time also.

Thanks to everyone who came out with an open mind and heart :) and big THANKS to BARF for co-sponsoring this event :thumbup

As great as the documentary was, the trip was 100x better. I knew I wanted to go back this year, but started waffling with thoughts of other trips. The documentary reinforced my original desire though - there's so much more to see of Pakistan, and I know it'll be a better experience with Moin.

For anyone thinking, "well I want to go to Europe or South America etc. I'll go to Pakistan next year" - FAIL - Moin is leaving on tour in 2016 and is going to stay out on the road as long as possible. This means 2015 is the year to do this tour, if you're at all interested. Yes, you can go to Pakistan on your own but Moin's connections are invaluable.

Anyone that missed yesterday's screening - come to Piston and Chain in San Francisco this Thursday night - 6:30pm. At least 3 tour members will be there, along with Moin of course. There's also a showing at UC Berkeley on the 20th. If you can't make it to either show, Moin will be posting it online in a few weeks and I'll update the thread with the link then.
