The note I got from DMV said you could have a number as the first or last character, but couldn't mix a number in the middle of letters. But I don't think they enforce that uniformly 'cause I've seen: letter letter letter number letter letter

But maybe that plate was issued before they came up with some new half-a$$ed rule. I was really disappointed.

I'd once considered getting WNTRMTE (Wintermute) until I looked at it and saw thayt it could also be read as "Want roommate".

I really want PELIGRO, (spanish for 'danger') but someone in Cali already has it.
 
In HS this good looking chick had a personal plate on her convertible bug that was supposed to read "one to go in" but it ended up looking like 12 go in.
