PG&E Admits problems with "smart" meters

Yup and they are installing them at my house this week. Yaaaayyyyy for paying twice what I owe and Bog Brother knowing when I take a shower and when I watch tv.

being the only game in town is awesome , ask comcast

Burn PG&E and their bitches the PUC. They began to prey on their customers for the benefit of the shareholders decades ago. State-sponsored monopoly.

its not all bad news.....they say you may actually be paying less than what you owe:twofinger

and comcast is not the only company around here where you can get tv/internet/phone service....give me a break.:rolleyes

Did you get that package in the mail yesterday too?

If it's Bog Brother, just pull the handle a few more times.

I have some meters on a couple different places, all my meters have shown decreases since installation but I haven't been following energy costs closely, but all things seem the same usage wise.

The ONLY way you know how much power you are using is to install a recording ammeter and let it run for a month. Then you have an hour by hour, blow by blow record. Any other way is guessing.

If you wrap your meter in tin foil will it block PG%E from reading it?

Senior company officials also said they had responded poorly to consumer complaints, and would work to restore trust in the program.

:laughing

Sorry, I didn't know there was trust in the program to begin with!
