Pics from Troy's Memorial ride 3/29/08

I just would like to say thank you to everyone who took time out to honor Troy. This is the first I've seen of the site of the accident, and all the debris leftover is pretty horrible and upsetting to see. I miss Troy very much, and it is is helpful to me to have support from so many people, including you guys, with whom he shared his favorite hobby and probably some of the happiest and freest times of his life.

Thank you also to those of you that showed up to the funeral, burial, and/or wake. It was a pleasure to meet you and I encourage you to continue doing what you love, just learn from this accident how much the people that love you can be hurt if you are torn away from them in an instant, the way Troy was taken from me.

Good luck to everyone and RIP Troy, my love.

Sincerely,

Kevie (Troy's lady)

Wow, Kevie, what you wrote above was very moving, and very touching. Especially the line I bolded. I do not think enough of us keep that in mind when we take unnecessary chances: how much the people that love us can be hurt if we are torn away from them, in an instant. If more of us can remember this, perhaps we can spare our loved ones the pain.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. God bless you.
