Pimp my Trailer...

That looks 10 times better, cheers. That trailer has better leaf springs than my truck. :laughing

But those silver lights seem perfectly placed to be accidentally kicked while stepping up onto the trailer.

You'd have to give them a good solid kick. They're cast aluminum units from Signal Dynamics. And the screw-on lexan lenses are a good 1/4 inch thick.

Wow, those are some fresh photos of the rig on the track. :wow

Amazing job with that trailer, Moike. The whole package looks just....TITS! :boobies

:applause

P.S. Did the duc get a facelift too?

The rig looks....beautiful with that new paint job...now the trailer fits the bill too. Sweet!

I should clarify, that's not paint on the rig, it's a vinyl wrap. literally just sticker panels. It's what Blanco Basura does. They wrap NASCAR, Baja trucks, bikes, just about anything. If it's motorsports, Scott's into it.

That all looks great Mike! Congrats! I love the 3/8" nuts welded on for wiring guides. Pretty clever! I'll have to file that idea away for future use... :thumbup

The wrap on the rig looks great, too! Looks like an old fighter plane.

The suspension travel on the trailer looks pretty restricted?

Is that enough for I-580... i always get the worst bumps up there.

The suspension was originally set up to handle two sidecars stacked one on top of the other, and twice the metal framework, it used to be a double-decker trailer.

I've noticed over the last season that the trailer would bounce when towing rather than the leaf-spring suspension actually doing any real suspending. So given how much lighter I'd say the trailer is now (several hundreds of pounds) the leaf springs will barely move. I figure there is more than enough clearance at two inches from tire to inner fender.

It's freshly painted, so if there isn't, I'll know.

Not sure if you noticed it or not but that Eastwood Rust Encapsulator works WAY better painting right over rust, it spreads like shit over clean metal for some reason. Either way it came out great, nice job!

Looks great! Makes me want to refurb my trailer.

You might want to put a section of shrink tubing on the brake light cables where they're resting on that angle iron. Let the shrink tubing rub through, not the wire insulation.

I actually have proper 'split loom' cable housing, I just didn't dig through my electrical boxes to find the right diameters to run along the exposed wiring. It's on the 'to do' list. :thumbup

..and I thought I was the only one who ever welded those nuts to the frame for wiring hangers...

Let me know if you ever want to replace those ugly welds.:rofl
I have a couple certifications under my belt.
