Pirelli Rebate

I bought a pair of Pirelli tires a couple of months ago. They came with a $60 rebate. The rebate came in the form of a digital prepaid card. They sent me an email saying "go to this page, type in this number and you can get your rebate."

I went to the page, typed in the number, and a page appears that kind of sort of looks like it would be a prepaid card with the $60 balance, but I can't figure out how I would use it - it has no credit card number on it, there is no "add this to your apple/google wallet," etc.

Has anyone ever seen one of these before? How is it supposed to work?

Moved to General.

I missed the rebate. :(

So far, you haven't missed out on much, it doesn't seem like it can actually be used for anything :)

It works. But fuck them for making it so hard. What a racket, I bet the gift card industry keeps a large portion of these rebates because of its so cumbersome. I'm in the wrong business.

Go into the card details or card management. There's a link there to show the card number.

Then go to Amazon. Buy a $60 gift card, add the credit card info, and pay for it. It will then show up as a gift card balance you can use on any purchase.

Thanks. That's exactly what I did (used the credit to buy an Amazon gift card).

I could have sworn I went into details/management before posting here and all it showed me was a four digit number.

Thanks for this, I did exactly as you said and it worked. Not sure if I’d have been able to figure it out otherwise. My application was marked as ‘pending’ for weeks and only when I threatened to contact Pirelli management did the agency miraculously approve the application the next day. Shame on Pirelli using these dodgy folks/tactics. Appreciate the help !

I got a $50 rebate from Bridgestone for a set of S22s. Their process is pretty straight forward. :thumbup
