Plants vs Zombies 2

OK, my OCD side will not let me stop playing this game. I've already gone all the way through Adventure mode three times. Now, I'm working on getting all the achievements. I've got all of them all the way down to Second Life (complete Adventure mode a second time.) But, I'm totally stuck at No Fungus Among Us (Complete a nighttime level without planting any mushrooms.)

I plant the sunflowers, but I can't seem to get enough coins to continue to defend my shit. I swear that I must be missing something totally easy here.

Did any of you guys get this one?

Yeah. Buy the double sunflower thing. Hold on I'll get a screenshot of my setup.

Made me curious so I tried it, got it on first try! I used the explodimating flower thingie that buries itself at first then raises up. It's only 25 pts and quite useful as defense (along with the 50-pt Squash) til you get enough sunflowers planted.

Basically your entire first 2 columns should be sunflowers. Use landmines, wall-nuts, frost peas, double shooters once your sunflower production goes up enough. Stack double sunflowers every time it's up. Squashes as a backup if they get through.

Ok so I beat adventure again, and I filled up all of the zen gardens. Yes, I have Stinky or whatever the snail is called, but it's a pin that he doesn't collect for the night-time and water gardens.

So then I sold all my plants and now I have all of the mini-games. So Dave's shop is completely sold out (except for the bacon, rake, etc).

I freaking hate the pogo mini-game

I freaking hate the pogo mini-game

The key there is that the pogo guy has two big weaknesses:

1. He can't jump over the big walnut. This is the same walnut that the pole vaulter can't get over.

2. The magnet will take his pogo away.

OK, I got it. Thanks, Guys! For me, the trick was to double up on the spud mines so that I didn't have to wait as long to set them up. Those $25 spud mines helped buy me enough time to get the sunflowers set up.

^^^Did you earn all that money by playing the games, or did you kick down for the fundage?

That's where the zen garden helps. You spend $7500 to sell for $10k. Once you have a couple chocolate bars and a full day-time garden you can make $50k a day.

Yup that's what I did.

Another fun tactic is to use the Garlic in Rows 1, 3 and 5. That way everybody is funneled into Rows 2 and 4, where you can set up a kill zone and mow them down. :teeth

I got that one it's the goldang Corn Shooter minigame I can't get. Don't like that one!

What corn shooter mini game?

I got bored the last go 'round with the adventure game, so I decided to see how far I could get with this setup. It's a bit more challenging in the pool and night time levels, but it's doable.

What corn shooter mini game?

It's in the MiniGame section, with 22 different minigames. I have finished them all except Beghouled, and the one called Buttered Popcorn which has corn shooters and a fast-approaching horde of zombies both on land and in the pool! :mad

Did you get the Beghouled Twist game? I don't like it, but just from an interface perspective. I play on my iPhone so trying to get the UI to match the swipes is annoying.
