Is there a difference between using a wax vs polish??

I use Klasse all in one on all my bikes and my car. I found it at Autobahn motors in San Mateo when I had my Benz. Really, really good stuff. $40 a bottle, but goes a long way. I am still using the bottle I bought in 2008. Jeff J.

Oh yeah. Pledge and a clean microfiber on anything that's clear-coated.

Bike Spirits is good stuff too.

Plastic, I like Meguires Plastic and Vinyl Somethingorother. Painted plastics, I treat like paint. A good wash and some paste wax. Honda/Kawasaki/Yamaha 'polish' on days when I just want to get the dust and bugs off.

Treat it like your would paint on your car. I polish annually and wax monthly. I like S100 wax.

I would NOT use pledge.

I just wipe down the plastics with a warm wet cloth and dry with a clean one then wax.

I use generic pledge from the dollar store on all my bikes. Painted, cleared, even bare dirtbike plastics. Never had a problem. Bugs just wipe right off.

That Bike Spirit stuff is pretty good. I use it on my fairings and helmet. Gets all shiny, and it is good for the rain (water just beads up).
