:D Picked up a set of Satin Black Rota Slipstreams in 18x9.5 +40mm for my Fl5 Civic Type-R. Zero fucks given as these will be my daily wheels.

I was not about to drop $4900 for a set of real 18x9.5" Spoon SW388 wheels and worry about them getting damaged in anyway.

On my FL5, I bought the OEM forged wheels. Saves almost 5lbs per corner of rotating mass!

If I was tracking it competitively, yeah, it would make sense to get the lightest wheels possible. But again, zero fucks for a daily driven car.
To each their own.

Forged wheels are stronger, and less rotating mass means better steering feel and better performance. But yes, to each their own.

Oh, I totally get it. I love the factory forged wheels from Honda. I found them for as low as $632ea.

And going down to 18" will give me a slightly softer ride (ADS module from the ITS already installed) for daily driving. I can save the 19" for possible auto-x in 2026.

Could all or part be considered a "gift"?
I call for a full investigation! :x

$65 worth of Maitake and Blue Oyster mushrooms from the local mushroom farm. 6 pounds.

Yum.

They only sell to the public for a few hours once a week announced on bookface which my sister in law is on.

Mycopia.

Evidently you want to get on Facebook to find out the special sale day and time each week.

Good luck.

bought this tiny flashlight, called "Olight clip Ultra". It works. Definitely decent and good for its size. The material is nice quality etc etc.

Bought it for fun, and, to Clip OR Magnet in places if there's something to fix, or for walking around!

It's smol. As you can see it's about 4 Windows Squares / 2.1 inches tall
The only thing is, maybe there's a tiny issue: it's 5700 - 6500 K and it looks like the reflection is nearly hurting the eyes... the light has a harsh color.

Nope... Shaggy mane mushrooms (Coprinus comatus) are taster!
Lots of them up in Douglas county Oregon.
Hmmmm, maybe TWT might know the 411 on obtaining said tasty fungi from the Beaver State?
