Can you please explain the difference between a "race" engine mount and a "street" engine mount?

Clearly my impression of what an "engine mount" is and does, does not conform to any kind of actual reality.

The fundamental difference between a street engine mount and a race engine mount comes down to a design compromise: isolating cabin NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) versus maximizing drivetrain rigidity and throttle response.

For a daily-driven or occasional street car, race mounts usually introduce an uncomfortable level of vibration. Conversely, for a dedicated track or competition car, street mounts are often too soft, leading to excessive engine slop and sluggish response during aggressive driving.

Road and engine vibration ?

I did shop for my Evo Harley, I tested a Low Rider, Dyna, and a Soft Tail,
Evo Soft Tail, full solid engine mounts, before the Twin Cam crank balancer, fitted to Softies.
Dyna full rubber mounted, two different feels,
I did go with solids, and winding her ALL the Way Out it would blow rear turn signal bulbs, vibration.

I had to glance over at your avatar to make sure you were saying that with a straight face.

Some SRAM nine 9 speed cogs from Performancebike

They look shiny...counterfeit. So weird. Yes the box has two more smaller cogs and a lockring

Proviz!

I have a jacket as well but it’s too hot for city bicycle riding, hence the vest. It’s a great winter jacket for Oregon tho. A few neighbors have thanked me for wearing it while out walking.
