A lot of my thoughts in the past weeks are about my friend's daughter. She's going through cancer treatment AGAIN. No one should have to suffer and hopefully survive cancer. I would know. It killed my father and almost killed my mother. A 17 year old girl should definitely not being having to go through it not once but twice.

My friend calls me the little brother she never wanted and I call her the big sister I didn't know I needed. :laughing

I love her and I love her daughter. She's a band nerd, as I was, so Danielle usually deflects that rambling to me about that shit because I understand.

Her name is Alaina and we all just hope her rematch with cancer is not as hard as the first battle.

well it's been a full weekend: got caught in a rain storm in dry weather gear, hung out in SF while cold and wet, climbed on the 2 story roof to trim a tree and played D&D. Our bronze dragon ran away and we have to go looking all over the dungeon for him.
 
big day today. Ate.. body feels wasted. Nearly "crashing"...

Tried to cut an "old" bicycle tire (AW1) ... You literally cannot cut the cords on the sides!! Crazy stuff

The DM said the dragon muttered a name and ran off to seek revenge. The pieces on the board are just representations of the creatures in your imagination.
 
Are dragons allowed to do side quests?

Nice full weekend, but of course between the person yelling on the street for a few hours last night and the cat incessantly wanting in an out of the bedroom I got very little sleep. Good thing I have coffee!

I had realized that maybe I had had too much coffee yesterday ... Two pours and then one spro in the late afternoon, .. maybe it kept me on the nerves racking scale.
 
Today's mission:

Stocking stuffers for wife and kids.

No idea what to give 9mo kids but I'm guessing cat toys are close to acceptable.
 
That usually does it to me, made that mistake on Friday when I got extra coffee for my interview, didn't sleep well that night at all
