good morning. i hacked on blackberry vines and pulled the perennial pea vines that are a PEST. I liberated a beautiful jasmine from its shady purgatory and now it can grow in peace with all the light it wants. i am a bit sleepy today.
 
I've done pretty well on blackberry bushes with a beater lawnmower. It's about as awkward as it sounds, but then also works better than you'd think.
 
I haven't "done anything" today or yesterday, except quick volunteering and more wishing to eat chocolate.

That, and tending to family yesterday, I guess. :dunno

My peet's coffee today (preground) was slightly better, than Hotel Peet's coffee yesterday. :facepalm starting to think everytday Peet's have that typical "undrinkable without milk" coffee taste

they were trying to choke out my glorious jasmine, which was defiant and gorgeous.

i planted hops in fall of 2023 in an attempt to control what grew and they are quite excited this year. i am so happy. they will add to the privacy of my house.

@byke This was near a lot of other plants I did not want to kill so precision was necessary. I bought this little garden stool that is on hefty wheels and has a tractor seat. That made all this work possibly. I yelled at the housemate to come grab the box and he would go dump it on the burn pile. While I was doing that he got our two wheelbarrows combined into one working one and that solved that problem.
 
Thinking of planting a Granny Smith apple tree in the front yard as my wife is an apple a day person and loves those.
 
I've been wanting to buy one of those large/old olive trees for like a thousand bucks. Wonder if you can find the same for apple...
 
But a "large" tree is like 6ft tall with a spindly 2" diameter trunk?
 
Max and I planted two variegated jasmine vines yesterday... I'm hoping they take over this arbor.
