haters, the both of ya!

one is complaining about too much milky stuff :x

and the other one is nitpicking that the clamp is not special even if he were recommending a simple one :twofinger

anyway, that's what I have but I could hope the local auto store has a slightly better clamp. These are "EVER built"

Someone should call me up with a screw clamp the has some spring force built into it.

And seriously, these leaks can usually be fixed by using a new hose.

well well well. That was "interesting".

as may have been suspected (incl by me), the start of the return-hose-nub on the coolant tank itself, has a crack.
Should I dab a little superglue while I wait for a new tank in the mail???? kidding/not kidding, kinda.

Plastic weld or JB Weld will take care of it. How old is your radiator? The plastic neck develops the same type of failure.

Swapped out the radio years ago with a modern unit.

Added a 4 channel amp to drive the JL Audio speakers in the door which handle a lot of power and can produce enough undistorted SPLs to be heard at freeway speed with top down. A couple of years ago I added a sealed subwoofer that resides in a sloped sealed and carpeted box in the passenger footwell.

I have to remove it (60 seconds) if I'm going to have a taller passenger but don't have to if it is my wife as she's only 5' 1".

Sounds awesome.

Car drives better than new with 196k miles on the original engine and tranny as the suspension was upgraded in 2020.

If looking for a manual four door I'd look at the Acura TSX that I drove to Miami and gave to my brother when my wife decided to get an auto SUV.

Very rare though.
I cancelled the sale of my car today. I'm not sure if that makes me a coward or afraid because when it came time, I just couldn't do it.

It's a hard feeling because I know what my next car will be but I just can't let go yet.

I get this.

To me things are just stuff but I get it. My buddy wont sell his POS mustang because his mom cosigned on it when she was alive.

I got the Miata the day after a niggling electrical issue was causing me hesitation issues with my beloved 280Z.

As much as I loved that car, (still my daughter's favorite), once it bit me in the ass it was time to go after 5+ year of ownership. Even took it to Sear Point for some Bondurant courses.

I was advised that radiators with plastic necks typically go bad as they near 20 years.

See if you can find a stainless steel replacement for that tank. I’d ask first on forums dedicated to your car. Or give Summit Racing a call.

I have one on my Mini because the stock plastic one has multiple failure modes.

And using an adhesive likely won’t work because of the materials the tank is made of, the heat it has to endure, and contamination from the coolant. I wouldn’t even bother to try.

so I already put some glue and will wait for it to cure until tomorrow.

The strangest discovery today is that the local auto-parts sold "hose removal pliers", ones that open up, they're "Titan" brand--and those helped, actually!

then I went to a local lunch/coffee place next to the autoparts store. ... got food and talked to people
