For any Sonoma County Acura or Mazda owners out there.

Hansel Acura in Santa Rosa closes Wednesday and becomes Hansel Mazda.

Good news for my wife and her CX5 and my friend with her CX30 but not so great for my friend with a "lemony' MDX.

I will still take my ancient Miata to the local shop rather than that dealer.

I was able to start riding again after recovering from at least 4 different major surgeries. It's a great feeling to get out there again... and that feeling can override a lot of minor, nagging pain.
I think your going to do fine, although you may have to make a few adjustments to your routine.
My accumulation of injuries finally resulted in pain and spasms that became too much for me to manage and I had to give up riding... at least for the time being.

I hear you man. Mostly been riding with pain since the mid 80's due to a bad knee. Switching to a Multistrada in '12 really made a difference and minimized the discomfort but it has always been my dance partner. I agree with ya that I will do fine. Expecting that my ass / hip / glute will be hurting for a while. Just rolling over big bumps in a car has the rear saying "Heeeeeeey".

I feel pretty blessed to still be riding (or was) and look forward to continuing for another dozen years.

I think about riding motorcycles every fucking day... I guess I always will. I've even got the hell-hound chained to one right now! :laughing
But I know that riding a motorcycle is definitely a thing I don't want to do if I can't do it well. Also goes for skydiving and alligator wrestling.

FWIW I identify as Generation Jones, we are our own kind of special.
... and I support your coffee drinking, avocado toast eating and booze consumption because those dang Boomers left ya with nut'n. Us too, but not in the absolute unattainable times.

Coffee was definitely a splurge, there goes my second home fund!

But actually, I'll definitely have to get serious about a stringent budget and probably find a part time side hustle potentially. We'll see how it goes.
