So tomorrow me and mom have to go get a rental van to move shit out of my brother's apartment he's forced to move out because he can't pay rent breaking his lease. Why do we have to do this? Because he's alienated almost every person that would be willing to help him. I don't want to help him but mom feels obligated to help her son and she's already done way more than she should have to help. The guy is fucking 44 and he still hasn't figured out how to be a functional human.
Sure, I'm living with my mother which is not exactly my favorite situation so I can only throw a few stones from my glass house but that's more of an unfortunate circumstance and also she needs a caregiver and right now that's me because if it wasn't me, there would be nobody else. She can't afford a full time or even part time caregiver. Well, she can afford me if there's beer and food in the fridge.

And she enjoys my company so she doesn't feel so lonely. For now, it's mutually beneficial but she knows at some point I'm going to have to make a serious effort to get my career back on track and get my own place again.
