Rhonda, what luggage did you settle on?

Tingles in my fingers, and forearms are annoying. Probably time for a doctor visit but I am pretty sure I won't like what they have to say.

For now, a doctor will probably tell you not to fold arms and wrists while sleeping … so not that unlikable. IOW, however, maybe it will be a wasteful visit to the doc ..not sure.

I really hate wasteful visits to the doc. Thank god :rolleyes the last one I went, i was like “it’s blue” and he’s like “it’s broken😥 🌭

The Rhinowalk seemed like the perfect choice with the 20L for the exhaust side and the 35L for the other. They were crazy heavy, the quick release mount not compatible with the framing for my aluminum cases and I was not going to mess with taking that off and on, and the buckles were oddly hard to disconnect with my weird hypermobile fingers https://rhinowalk.com/products/35l-quick-release-side-bag

Next I tried the Nelson Rigg Hurricane. I bought the tank bag last year and it's worked well with the rainy PNW. Too small and I don't need them that waterproof that I'm willing to give up some flexibility in the material to really crush them down when not using. https://www.amazon.com/Nelson-Rigg-...207316&sprefix=nelson+rigg+hur,aps,221&sr=8-1

Ended up with the Nelson Rigg Trails End. Lots of storage including the extra pocket underneath, ability to cinch down when I don't need all the space, lightweight but sturdy with nice waterproof inserts with handles so I can leave the bag on the bike and pull out all my shit, plus my thumbs don't bend backwords when i try and disconnect the buckles. https://www.amazon.com/Nelson-Rigg-...98&sprefix=nelson+rigg+ad,aps,208&sr=8-1&th=1

The panniers on the SV are nelson rigg and they've put on a lot of miles including some loaner time to frozenuts

Hot outside . Was wondering if my car would be melting (3+ parked outside) . Is this irregular, this hot in sf, or it’s just normal… summer?

Yeah! I hit a cold coffee, actually
(some brew that I made in the morning, and added cold milk and ice) ...

Indeed! There is a heat advisory for SF, a bit strange! The concrete and buildings outside are blazing the saddles.

HEAT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PDT THIS EVENING

* WHAT...High temperatures up to 90 expected in the City.

* WHERE...San Francisco County.

It’s really nice outside in the shade of porch.

Hot down here too (Mt. View currently).

Good weather to kick off the world cup. Sorry boys and fans. :laughing

My ex-husband is lucky. I like him. I am waking up at 3:00 AM on Sunday morning to drive him to the airport.

a douche with zero situational or self-awareness
I had to watch it two three times, initally it was tricky to figure out.. it all becomes clear once you listen to the sound of the video.

The driver was out of it, he was fully engrossed in a cell-phone call... and seems to be one of those "you shall not enter my lane" people. He barely realized it.. then accelerated. Then you can even hear the gunning of the engine

if you get to reading the comments of the OP he's all like "why he BE ENTERING mah lane!?!?"

I do hope they got lots of spicy trucker perspectives on that post.
there actually weren't many spicy trucker comments . (maybe because still, technically` the trucker would be at fault (when someone else was being a dick))

BUT, a separate post was made by a trucker... he says that this happens 10 times a day to him-- people "playing dick" like that..
