Post / Chat whores post here (2026)

cat came in at 1:30am like nothing was amiss, I went to bed immediately. woke up to sore legs from walking all over the neighborhood looking for him. He's now looking out the sliding glass door like he's ready to go back out.

Cat doing cat things.

It has tasted freedom, it wants to roam, you will be relegated to a rest stop food provider.

Out there > in there

On my third bodily fluid to touch my hands for the day... #twindadlife

Having coffee, dog asleep on my foot, it’s a bright fall morning. It’s the kind of morning I’d wake up walk to the barn and hear the horses kicking the stall doors. I’d let them out and they’d charge into the morning bucking and farting with steam flowing out of their nostrils.

My wife saw a post on next door for like 3 weeks from now at a family who wants people to ride motorcycles by their house for their very young child's birthday... Now I know I can go by and make this kids day... But what if barf came by?

Where and when?

From the little we were told about Bolt, it was our understanding that he was always free to go inside/outside as he pleased (you probably just didn't read the fine print :laughing ) The reason we didn't keep him was that my wife insisted on making him an indoor cat and I said no way (we already have two)

When the two (old) cats we have are gone, we will never have another indoor (only) cat again. We used to have outdoor (mostly) cats... they could sleep inside when they wanted, or go out and hunt. Then suddenly my wife became convinced that as soon as one stepped outside at night an owl was gonna swoop down and grab it. Then that turned into they can't go outside ever... which I think is bullshit. :x

I'll tell you what I tell her... let those cats out! If something happens, I'll get you another cat" :laughing

Caffeinating. Fall weather makes me miss Colorado, best damn time of the year back home. Crisp weather, great mountain biking conditions, fall colors everywhere.

Also, this mountain bike is gonna be a problem, I'm already sitting here with my coffee researching suspension upgrades, better handlebars and grips, etc. Good thing I can get parts at cost at least :laughing :facepalm

My folks always took the ce la vie route with cats. Somehow I never lost any of the ones I grew up with to cars, coyotes or whatnot and one of them made it well past 20 years old. Since then they've lost two to coyotes I think. Living in the city my cats were indoor cats due to the much higher chance of getting smushed by cars. They never minded because they didn't really know what they were missing. If I ever get another cat I'll leash train it because the idea of taking my cat for a walk is both hilarious and sounds very entertaining.

c'est.

:x

approve or not?! that's the question.

One is allowed outside because she's too fat to jump the fence.

Big dumb... Is just dumb. It's more of a protect him from himself, than it is anything. Got some neighbors with dogs that aren't my wife's service dog and he doesn't really know the difference.

Thankfully the neighbor's German Shepard didn't know what to do when it caught dumb because he forgot how to cat and just kind of rolled over.

He also fell in the other neighbor's pool last time out and I had to go through the fence to get him out of the water...

He dumb

Slowly cleaning up the living room without drawing attention to all the toys going away.

That way, I can vacuum before they get dumped back out.

Bolt just went out for 45 minutes then I dragged him back inside cus I gotta run errands. The las cat , Sebastian, had free insy outsy but was required to be in at night, generally by 10:30pm he was in the bed expecting a human to come be a heat source. Bolt is different, he kinda does the it's time for humans to go to bed so he can suckle the sheets like they're his mother, weird. Bolt's not completely free but he does get out times and a least tries to hunt. Wandering around the neighborhood with him I do end up talking to my neighbors and learning the goings on in da hood.
