I rode an ebike.

Yeah, it's nothing like bicycling. It might be biking , with a motor, but yeah, no. It's not real.

The one I had was a bit slow to get going (like a regular very heavy bike), then it gave you power, which did slingshot you, then I caught up to people, then I had to brake or sharply let off the pedaling. :facepalm W T ba Fang.



Not incidentally a plethora of ebikers I've seen around town, simply slingshot and sometimes do weird stuff with pickedup speed, customarily known as squidding

Yeah... the real stinker was finding out they did not change the sheets for new occupants.
I had spilled a drop of coffee about the size of a dime at the foot of the bed. After they moved me out the room was made up and bed all tight and tidy so I did the sheet review.

The old sheet was still there. I find that disturbing.

The place used to be really clean and less sketchy. I think it’s maybe under new ownership since 2024 or so.
 
So today, I was driving my mother around to various errands.

While I was pumping gas, the radio was still on.


While the gas was pumping and leaving, this song was playing. and I danced around the house not giving a fuck.

Mrs is effectively furloughed from her job for now. It was her decision to help the owner save money and keep other people employed. But we depend on her income and 60% from EDD isn't going to make things easy. Even though I know we'll get through it, we've been through it enough times in the last few years. I don't want to keep struggling.
