Solid. Braitos Marina is close by which means the marina the Zodiac sailed from is close by. The area by the Golf course is nice...the course is a bit shitty, but overall, Buckingham is one of, if not THE nicest place on the lake...but I'm biased AF.
Yup. You should. It's a great area.
Not much really, but the pond smells like shit starting around late July/ August. That being said, it's got a nice boat ramp/ park/ dock access not 300 yards away or so. Buckingham is an excellent zip code to have in CL.

super weird. have a trivia game at our bi-monthly meeting (bit of mindless fundraising fun - if you guess wrong, you put a buck in the kitty). one of the questions tonight was - name the rarest mammals in the sierras. okay - one is a wolverine. had no clue, and no one guessed. SUPER rare. but when they showed a pic, i was like OMFG. that’s the exact animal we picked up a couple of years ago on one of the trail cams we have on our property. late night image. glowing eyes, and the whole bit. what the hell is that?!?! looked a bit like a bear cub with a long bushy tail. turns out - next best thing to a fucking unicorn!
