As an experienced suspendee from this forum I do know that blatant TOS violations are easy, wham bam 1,2,3 weeks-the more complex violations take more time as first the mod core has to be gathered, then the issue has to be discussed ,then an agreement on the next course of action has to be made. By the time many of us have fulfilled our break the true offender is still trolling; then, out of the seemingly nowhere, after the forum has exploded and so many have voiced opinions Bap goes the ban hammer and the original shit mixer is gone for a few days weeks or permanently. :dunno

Anyway this is the internet and we are blessed to have a BARF place to gather.

Thanks G. Appreciate the thoughts and reality on how we address the Terms of Service.

It is very true.. Just saw it a few days ago. I have had a hard time seeing friends get suspended for sure but to keep things on the straight forward at times it has to be done. Having them get mad and walk away (has happened) is tough as hell, but if we start to play favorites we will lose the respect for the rules we have put out there so everyone can enjoy a mostly respectful environment.

On a more fun basis just added a Bone Podcast to the Lanesplitting Guideline thread. Surj and I did it way back... miss him.. miss City Bike.
 
It's been a while since I have received the ban hammer. I think it's mostly because I stopped trying to argue my point. Oh sure, there are times I get riled up but then I try and remember "Why is this important?" It's just some guy on the interwebs"

I earned it when I got it.

There are worse offenders who didn't but... It's just the interwebs.

Older and wiser koi will certainly earn it again eventually, but he's working on being better. People don't like dgaf koi.
 
I get disturbed at some of the posts here but then I remind myself over and over again-I can not control other's behaviors.
Only the mods can do so!!~

That's it!!! At the end of the day, if they need help you're going to wind up helping them. FWIW, I called Relli a POS way back when. When I came back online I whined about my busted water heater. You know who reps Rheem water heaters and asked to help? Relli. How about that.
 
wish I had computer problems where a computer "shits"... it's probably going to be silicon dioxide or melted flux. :dunno

I learned at a very young age that people can't keep yelling at you if they're laughing. :laughing
 
at different times we might represent or take on different roles.
I went from a hero to a scapegoat and then a lost child. Then back to hero status-for all that I have overcomed.
