Little black (hard to photograph) one on the left is Tie. She's an old gal of about 15. The Russian Blue on the right is a recent adoption from Mom. He too is old, around 17... and quite large, maybe 10 pounds.

I have seen 17 and up to nearly 30lbs on the news.

Arthur looks like the cousin of Carmine! Does he look more reddish/brownish in sunlight or lighten up in the summer?

It's just in the sunlight, otherwise he looks jet black.

He's 11 years old and about 19.5 pounds.

Blondie and Tuco. Two of the 11 or so ferals that we're feeding down at the shop. These two are the bravest of the new kittens and just figured out last thursday how nice it feels to be scratched by a dexterous human hand. Now they won't leave me alone. I'm a little worried about next year when kitten season rolls around again....feeding these guys is getting expensive. At least we don't have a rodent problem anymore.
