We had a few cats who would do that. One tiny little mouse got away and set up housekeeping in the insulation of our oven. You’ve never smelled anything as horrific as really hot mouse piss wafting through your house! Eric had to take it apart, scrub it top to bottom, and replace the insulation. Our gray boy Mercer eats everything and anything he catches. I’m not sure which is worse.

Been a long time since there has been a cat(s) in the house.
Started seeing this guy/gal about 2-1/2 months ago in the early evenings, around dusk, walking the length of the back fence.
When I do, I call to it but it just stops a few seconds and gives me a cursory look then continues down the fence. I haven't
approached it yet. El Gato appears to be in good shape so pretty sure it belongs to someone in the hood.
No collar and 99.999% BLACK.
