Big metal dog on the freeway...
We have a very big, metal, yellow dog down here in front of our new Bark Park that the city just opened up a few months ago.

The dogs seem to enjoy it. Be nice when the weather gets better.

We have a new member of our pack! Meet Wrigley (the R is silent)
foster fail from Jakes Wish rescue in San Jose, we think he is a mini poodle / havanese mix, and our guess is that he is around a year old or younger due to puppy velocoraptor temdancies.
He and Jaeger our mini Schnauzer puppy (1-1/2 y.o.) get along famously, Otto the Lhaso Apso (9 y.o.) tollerates him.
He is a sweetie cuddler and we are working on the house potty training thing.

…..large dogs will try to kick you out of bed and take up all of your lap, small dogs won't.
Ha! My wife and I had two beagles over nearly 30 years. They both slept with us and nearly every morning I’d wake up sleeping on the edge of the bed with our tiny beagle pressed up against my back or butt. A small dog is no guarantee that you won’t get pushed out of bed.

Before my wife and I got our first dog (a beagle) we went to a big AKC dog show at the Stockton fair grounds. That way we could see all the popular breeds, interact with them, and ask questions of the owners. That way we learned of the peculiarities of a particular breed.
