Set your bike up. I am almost done with the lights on my Ct70/125cc and we can ride. Shoot me a pm and we can pick a date and post it up for the big little bike ride. B

The only thing I hated more than my 2003 Derbi GPR50 was my 1978 VW Rabbit Pickup. And that's because the Rabbit made zero compression on cylinder four.

Seriously, I tried, but I just don't get this.

:laughing he can not see the light!!! :teeth

did ya ever take it to the track?
ever ride one with a 72cc or 80cc kit?

i bought a 2003 derbi at a dealer, showroom stock they are pretty gutless. really gutless. they need at least 72cc kit with pipe, and some good tyres - then things start to get interesting. with stock 50cc and stock tyres, i can easily understand why a lot of people ride them and come away underwhealmed

Mine had a Leo pipe and the fancy Mikuni flatslide, but original displacement and internals... I think a nology hotwire as well along with other minor improvements.

Highway felt like a suicide bicycle mission. Having owned a 310 lb 65hp motard, I cannot see the appeal of a 7/8 230lb 8?hp sport?bike. Even at the track.

yea even the super tricked out 50cc's are only OK at best. no replacement for displacement. I assure you my friend, a ~200lb Derbi with 18hp is a woot on the street, or at the track!

Having a wet 260lb 2 stroke 250 SuMo, and a Derbi SM with all the motor farkles; 72cc with a Mikuni flat slide, reeds and a pipe, I'll say I like pretty much everything about the bigger bike better but the Derbi is still a huge blast, especially around town.

It's an awesome bike for people to learn on, as long as you keep it below 7500rpm it's a dog and there are no surprises.

good on you for splitting the winnings! glad to see you won!

gosh daymn sexay bikez u gotz there!
