So basically I'm trying practice stunt riding... I'm not some random squid trying to be cool... I have always been a wheelie guy and love doing wheelies... Dirtbikes were always fairly simple for me as a kid... My trouble isn't getting the bike up it's more of riding it out... Basically I was wondering If there is someone out there who would be down on Saturday to help me perfect my wheelies... I'm willing to throw some beer money down and buy some food or whatever... Let me know if this is doable.. Preferably not in the streets of sf haha

Find a parking lot, that won't get you too much attention, and is private property.

That's super difficult in sf haha... I need to go out of
The city and explore a bit

hit me up, not an expert but i know how to get it up and ride it out...a wheelie that is!

Do you have a stunt cage ? And what is your sprocket size ?

I agree with t4r4life... Alameda is pretty laxed on that as long as your not running into someones property. the navy base has plenty of places and space for you to do so.

yep the parking lot is huge and if popo shows up then RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:twofinger

Moved thread to Stunt Forum where you'll hopefully find some patient mentors as well as a safe practice place. :cool

(I still need those lessons too! :cry)

you ride them out, just get the front wheel up a bit more and you wont chase the RPM's. keep the throttle as steady as possible (if you dont have an idle adjuster) and use your break to adjust your balance because its smoother.

It's weird... Whenever I try and slip the clutch I always end up doing a burnout... Riding shift into second... About 4k revs pull in clutch gas up to about 10-12 slip the clutch and the back tire just spins

1st or 2nd gear, stock gearing you should rev up to about 6k or more and slip the clutch, also keep it in your head that you WANT it to come up, use youre upper body to pull it up like you would do on a bmx bike, dont fight it and dont be a pussy, tell yourself you want it and it will happen
