Progressive Insurance sucks

Ok since we r on this subject I have farmers insurance, and it is way too much for my bike what is everyone else using or recommending for a new 2008 sportbike 600cc well seasoned, clean dmv rider.........stanky otherwise.............
 
Best for me is state farm. 173 every 6 months for FULL coverage. My very first r1 was the one I paid the most insurance on, and that was only 800 for FULL coverage for the year. Recently my buddy switched to my state farm agent and saved 1500 a year. He could not believe them. He actually asked if they could repeat the quote, he was so amazed. Everyone I have sent there has save massive amounts on insurance. My agent is in Redwood city. Send me a pm if you want to save money and I will give you the info.:ride
 
eh? 1200 a year? for liability? thats insane!! i use geico- just because they have had a good history of always answering the phone, no matter what hour of day night or holidays. so far they have not screwed me, and they are cheap. i pay like 110 bucks a year for 2 motos-- liability only.

I have Farmers insurance now and I actually work for Farmers so its a win win for me :)
 
I got hit over a year ago, and because the cop didn't write who was at fault it's taking forever EVEN with her saying she heard me coming.

Actually, 1.5 yrs now. Absolutely stupid. This was with state farm.

Oh wow....Thats about how long it took to solve my claim with the drunk driver. Insurance companies want your money but will find every excuse not to pay you believe me. They are in business to make money not pay people. I found this site to be pretty funny: http://www.progressiveclaimshelp.com/...As a matter of fact Progressive has more BBB complaints than any other insurance carrier. Theres also tons of more info on how bad they are on the internet.
 
Good god that's expensive insurance. I pay $490 a year for full coverage...

Quit getting your bikes stolen / falsly reporting your bikes stolen!

Actually they are right and thats the standard for all insurance companies. Unless there is a witness to your account how are they to know you didn't just run off the road on your own ?? I worked in claims for many years and I cant tell you how many excuses we heard as to why someone ran off the road.

Trust me, I hate insurance companies and will never work for another one again but you cant say fuck Progressive for this one.
 
get a lawyer. sign up for a pre-paid legal program and use it immediately.
the longer this drags, the better it is for them, if only cause it's you without a bike.

and mebbe buy a shitty bike that won't get lifted :)
