Where's the best (read: cheapest) place to refill LP tanks? Preferably in CoCo County.

Anyone?

Don't know what they have down there but I just do an exchange at the gas station for $20. Check Walmart and Home Depot as well.

^+1 thats where all the propane gas thingys place i go to...1st is Walmart, 2nd is either a Savemart or some sort of store...last resort would be the gas station

all the small mom and pops gas stations down willow pass rd:thumbup

you know what, in San Francisco I don't think there's any place left that does this. The local Home Depots don't offer that service. There used to be a place on Mission, but it blew up. Then there was a gas station down near John Daly Blvd, and it got destroyed by a truck wreck. So I have been wondering where I'll go when my current tank runs dry

My local UHaul does propane tank refills. I think it was around $12 to fill it last time.

According to their site, they do propane in Concord.

U-HAUL CENTER CONCORD

2291 Monument Blvd
(E Of Oakgrove)
Concord, CA 94520

Again, according to UHaul's site there is a location on Bayshore that does refills.

U-HAUL CTR BAYSHORE
1575 Bayshore Blvd (& Paul Ave)
San Francisco, CA 94124

(415) 467-3830

Just about any hardware store or gas station. In Lafayette the Ace Hardware does a cylinder exchange, the gas station across from the Round Up does refills.
