Question @ cops ventilating an SUV

How the fuck do you "hear a pop", "feel an impact to your chest", and fall down yelling you've been shot when nothing happened?

Hey here's an idea, giving guns to people with war flashbacks and having them pull over cars is a super shitty plan.

I like how you call criticism of two guys who shot up a car for absolutely no reason at all, one of whom was later fired, "cop bashing."

PTSD. In brief the brain takes a super-small input, processes it using primitive parts and sends an emergency flight/fight reaction to the reaction part of the brain before the 'thinking' part of the brain has chance to analyze the situation.

The officer may have had no idea he was suffering PTSD until this happened. Thankfully nobody was hurt. The people in the car probably have PTSD now too...

War sucks...

A cop could massacre an orphanage full of children and if someone started a thread about you would whine about cop bashing.

Let this statement be a warning to the rest of us citizens of what the attitudes of law enforcement are really like. All it takes is for one of these yahoos to scream "HE'S GOT A GUN!!" and you can kiss your ass goodbye.

I don't care if a semi-truck back fired and threw a rock up from its tire that hit the officer in the chest. He was still in the wrong. How can you possibly try to defend this guy or even hint that he may not have done anything wrong?

There are some cases where I can understand your arguments, even if I disagree with them. This is not one of them.

I hope he hangs!
 
i believe since this incident they ahve both been fired. i know at least one of them has been. it is horrible that this happened but on the same token for a while salinas was more dangerous than oakland. there have been some beyond ridiculous shootings and lots of other issues. being white i wont go anywhere east of the 101 unless its my mother office which is 2 blocks away or the in n out.

Sometimes it's hard to connect the dots. Let's see 50,000 riders were at Laguna Seca last weekend and went through or near Salinas so it might be good to know that 1 former cop and 1 reprimanded cop are a little trigger happy. Also there is the thread about; " Cop pulls guy on biker. Pt. II - He could get 16 years in the slammer" . This rider was lucky, the cop didn't shoot at him. Treat all police officers with courtesy you never know when you will get one who acts like the BART cop.

+1. Just because people are talking about cops making some ridiculous mistakes which put the lives of citizens in danger does not mean they are "cop bashing." Cop bashing sounds more like, "fuck the police!" And while I agree that not all cops are retards who think they've been shot every time they loud noise, I do sometimes wonder about the institution that is hiring these unstable fucking idiots that I keep hearing about in the news. Because of the amount of power they have over the every day citizen, cops should be among the most scrutinized employees of the state. Maybe we should set up a system for the performance of individual officers to be reviewed by citizens on a yearly basis. Maybe then we'd have some accountability for the assholes that give all of cops a bad name.

This one is a great example of how a cop can totally fuck you. If it was just a normal guy he would have been completely assed out on a whim of 2 stupid pigs.
