R/C, Adruino, and EE hobbiest I need your help!

Not sure why it would be humming. Does it seem to be moving a tiny bit?

The second loop doesn't return it to the same position as the first. It goes to 1 degree instead of 0 which is the starting position. Try changing this condition of the second loop pos >= 1 to pos >= 0. Or also moving the second delay(1000) up to the beginning of whole loop function before the first for loop.

I moved the delay and still the same thing. I even changed 1 to 0 and nothing! :nerd ok I lied, the right now bounces when at the lower position

Hey Entoptic, I found this thread because you posted a link to it on llenta's gyrocam thread. Is there any reason why you chose to use two servos per wing? The whole project would have been cheaper/simpler if you used just one servo per wing.

Based on the video you posted of the prototype on 10-19-2011 at 3:02...essentially you have a four bar mechanism (the base of the wing) that drives another four bar mechanism (the extended part of the wing with the wingtip)...it's a 1 DOF system needing only one driver. Just saying for next Halloween maybe. But you got the project done quickly and that's what matters. Your costume must have been a crowd favorite.
