Recieved a random fast track ticket in the mail

Ya know. the pic's the others have referred to or shown, while not necessarily legible, definitely aren't "whited out". Yours is just a tad suspicious because of that. I'd vote "scam"...

So you think FasTrak is trying to scam me? :confused

I received a ticket from an anaheim toll road. I was in Oakland during the time the offender went through without paying. I wrote a letter, got my boss to write a letter and they forgave the ticket.

So you think FasTrak is trying to scam me? :confused

Nooo...not really. I'm kind of questioning that it's indeed FasTrak. I know you went to a website and found the violation...just don't know if the website you typed was specifically on the notice you got or if you went with a random search via Google. Scammers will misspell URL's ever so slightly and make it look real.

Yeah, it could be that FasTrak is now whiting out license plates as a new policy for some reason. But the "whiting out" is suspicious based on past practice.

I see what ur sayin now. ya I made sure it was the official website and the correct spelling. bayareafastrak.org I IIRC
