Recommendations for valve adjustment?

get it checked

"Engine has a bit of rough idle after engine temp gets high and I can hear a cylinder misfiring. Sounds like it rattles."

You should get your honda checked based on your description of the motor idle. Valves tend to get tighter over time due to valve seat wear. Your engine rattles when warmed could be an exhaust valve too tight and not seating properly. If so, (not saying it is), the result is a burnt exhaust valve.

Tuonos are not the same as inline fours. My Tuono valve adjusts routinely took a day. Inline fours don't, I can do an SV in three hours.

The Tuono is a fucking nightmare.
I need to get around to checking my SV1000 again, haven't done so in a while. Here's hoping it only takes 3 hours.

yeah i heard the same - (definitely an outlier) - i can't recall what model year v4 aprilia's were the nightmare that required removal of several additional parts to adjust the valves - but it didn't sound cheap or fun to do lol

The Rotax twins. The engine balancer is located above the front cams on the head. It's a nightmare of gears and parts. Then one of the cam chain tensioners won't come out without removing a ton of cooling hoses between the cylinders. I did one and never again.
