option to YOU? or factory only?

obviously when you're a ballah or don't go to shoot often, it's not an issue but if you're going regularly or when times are tough is it an option for you?

Depends where they're from, but there's generally no reason not to.

I used to go shooting so much I HAD to reload; the alternative being spending $$$ at the gun store or the range. My reloads were much higher quality than the reloads at the range.

Plus my powder didn't foul the gun like the range reloads did. Crappy, dirty stuff (I guess they used cheapest stuff available.) When I used their stuff, cleaning the firearm after getting home was a PITA after using their crappy reloads.

Reloads are fine for the range, otherwise I use factory.

Why are all these gun threads in the general forum??

The only time I use factory ammo is when I'm too lazy to load my own. But I'm usually more of a cheap-ass than a lazy-ass, so that's not very often. :laughing

i've ran a lot of reloads through my glock with no problems.

Thank the lord...for a second there I thought someone was referring to retreaded tires!

If such a thing exists for motos...which I hope not.

I was getting 1000 rounds of .45acp Fiochi from Traders for $205 (including) tax so I was buying "factory" rounds. Now that all the idiot gun phsycos have started hoarding, sending the prices more than double I broke out my RCBS system and putting all my bags of brass through the tumbler. It's a pain in ass to reload (for me anyway) but the savings is definitely worth it.

Oh and by the way. This belongs in the Sink.:twofinger

if i can trust the loader, they're fine. I have 200 .223 relaods at home currently.

soon, I'll be "rollin' my own"

or firing the muzzleloader so every shot is a hand load. :p

Worst Metallica album ever.

Until St Anger.

I think you should either buy factory or just start handloading your own. I'm lazy so I buy factory and only get to the range a couple of times a year.

I have been looking for someone who is set up to load .300 win mag. I have several boxes of brass. They are close to a dollar a round these days.
I had a little trouble running reloads through my early Glock .45. I put in a stronger firing pin spring( that Glock added later) and have not had trouble since.

I reload. I reload everything, heck I even do my blanks for my western shows. It is a lot cheaper doing it myself. Especially when you are providing guns and ammo for the whole crew. But if it was only me I'd prob be lazy and just buy :laughing

my boyfriend get reloads i think i guess it depends on where/who you get it form..ive used them they work just fine..in fact we do our own reloads at home...308 i believe

I heart Darlene.

I don't have room in my apt. for a reloading setup, and I've usually shot factory ammo, but I'll move to Miwall and similar reloads soon with the insane ammo prices these days.

I think I love you.
*giggle* :blush thank you :laughing

:kiss Right back at cha :wave

You can't even find ammo now a days :laughing For instance I am looking for Hornady SST-LM (super shock tip- light magnum) 165 grain Springfield for my 30-06

No dice :laughing Nothing, Nada in stock. Freaking hilarious. I am telling you reloading is the only way to go now a days.
