Hey guys!
Boy do I have an update for you.
First an foremost, I'd like to thank every single one of you who posted on my thread back in March (seen here - http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=453332). Whether it was positive or negative it was truly enlightening to understand the complexity and severity of an adventure such as. So to you - thanks again. You have opened my eyes and mind to see clearer that I... once and for all should do the trip.
Do you really think I was going to update you on some bologna? Please let your eyes have an euphoric experience with this one photo:

43,000 miles on it
It's a crazy story how I found it and the events that followed. I hope to go through every step with you guys and would love any and every recommendation, suggestion, thoughts, and criticism. Please don't hold back!
The picture above is in Joshua Tree couple days ago. I rode around 150 miles each way and this was my first official adventure ride with her. I've had the bike for about 3 weeks now and ride it every day. My focus is on saddle time and placing myself in awkward situations on the road to see how I am going to alleviate the problem. Practice is the name of the game.
I can't get into too much more now and I do apologize. I promise to have a full update soon. On that note, I want to start a blog ASAP and am researching the best way to go about it. What's your take? Wordpress? Tumblr? Would you guys like me to have a continuous thread going of my updates? Let me know how you'd like to read my story and I will make it happen.
Talk to you soon!
