Ride experience in Brittish Columbia? End Summer 2023

Lots of RV self storage facilities and rollup lockers that accept vehicles in the area.
Slightly less dodgy than a random Walmart if you like a gate.

Sadly, a lot of the roads close in to Vancouver (HWY 1)and up the Frazier River are heavily traveled , due to the expansion of the Alberta Oil Shale patch.

Hwy 5 has a "loop" (back and forth, actually) to Kamloops and Revelstoke that is very picturesque. The wildfires from recent years that incinerated Lytton and that area left a depressing spectre of devastation.

But you might want to head all the way up to Tofino. Tofino is a super charming villagey sort of place. If you like seafood, try the "boat" place, who's name I forget, but the food was great.

I seem to recall there's not many roads up the coast itself, but Egmont, Gibsons and the "Sunshine Coast" is low key and uncrowded, at least it used to be.

Watch your speed on open highways, there are often speed trap type setups in the center divides of main highways.

Highway 4 on Vancouver Island is currently closed due to a wildfire. There is a dirt logging road that serves as a bypass, but I am not aware if it is open for tourist travel.

Shit, so much beautiful 2nd growth cedar along there, from the interior to Port Alberni. Uclulet is a gem, too. Many Canadian first people there, and staggering beauty, Long Beach's endless driftwood piles are kind of incredible. It's an amazing place to storm watch, as the Pacific literally bashes the crap out of the coastline there.
I hope it's controlled soon.

4 days is not a lot.

I stayed in the Vernon area, up to Jasper, Ice Road Parkway to Lake Louise then down to Glacier in 2019. AMAZING AREA Here's a link to a TR I did.

You could probably pull off Vernon, Jasper, Lake Louise/Banff in 4 days but you'd be rushing.

BC and the parks will be packed in the Summer and finding last minute camping is a lot harder than in the US. You'll want reservations.
