Happy new year everybody I was curious what are the most comfortable and well all round enduro or trail riding boot, for me hands down the Fox instinct's are pretty damm good and I like the Sidi crossfire 3 but have to add padding to my ankle in one of them but other than that those are my favorite and for adventure boots the alpinstars toucan are great .

I always loved my Aerostich Combat Lites. Comfortable enough for all day wear and made by Sidi for Aerostich.

I have small feet. Sidi Stingers are my favorite. Articulated ankle is key for me.

I just bought some alpinstars tech 7 enduro they are very comfortable.

I've owned lotsa boots over the years.
I'm not particularly brand loyal when it comes to footwear.
I will say this: I've owned several pair of Sidi's.
Each pair, without exception, have lasted a seriously long time and broke in to buttery soft leather.
I have regrets whenever I stray from them.
I'm in that camp right now.

TCX is my go to boot, currently have 3 pairs but in their street versions. I'd consider them a quality brand.
Their Comp Evo 2's look like a good alternative to the Sidi Crossfire

The Comp Evo 2's are currently on sale for 60% off if you like red https://www.tcxboots.com/ca/en/off-road/

I agree with you and over the years my feet have gotten wider and have not felt good in the sidi boot.

Sidi Crossfire 3 is my choice when I'm with a fast/serious group. I have Sidi X-Power SC boots for dual sporting or more casual rides where I think I might be walking more. The toe box is much wider than the CF3 and are quite comfortable without giving up too much protection. I have big feet and usually go up one euro number with Sidi and they fit perfect.

I have Sidi Crossfire 2, Gaerne SG-12, plus some shorty boots. With extra large calves my choices are limited. These are overkill for general riding, stiff, heavy and both squeak. The SG-12's have a tighter ankle area. I am now looking at the Gaerne SG-22's because they come in Gore-Tex. It's only money!
