What's with all the outpouring of sympathy? He was just a cop, a dirty cop, a cop who never did anything good and who's only joy in life was making other peoples lives miserable.

(for those who can't tell that is sarcasm for all the cop haters on BARF, :rip)

There's good cops, and there's bad cops. When folks automatically defend the bad ones (just because they're cops) they tarnish the reputation of the good ones as well.



Jeremy Henwood was clearly one of the good guys. :rose

I think it is an absolutely perfect place for it. There is a very vocal minority here that thinks absolutely all police are bad guys. I pointed out to them (through sarcasm) how absolutely wrong they are.

Nobody on here knew the officer personally (if they did my apologies) so nobody should be offended by my comment.

There was 4 Lakewood offers in Washington and 1 Seattle PD all gunned down like that this year alone. Unfortunately, jumping cops is becoming more common place :(
