RIP Michael Jackson - 5 Years Later

Having sat in a jury in California, 10 out of 12 jurors want nothing but to be done with the case. It's a burden, it's uncool to be a juror. It spells too dumb to get out of jury duty. Faith in jury: zero.

Still waiting for the mundane scumbags that gifted America with an unfunded and unnecessary war, and then the greatest recession in a century to see the inside of a courtroom. :rolleyes

That's too bad. I've been on a jury twice, and most everyone took it very seriously. I saw it a five day paid vacation, sort of.

"Uncool" to be a juror? Maybe you worry about being cool too much.

And trial by BARF will give better results? Please.

I've been involved with trials and your experience doesn't ring true for me. And I'm pretty sure just about anyone would have been very interested and attentive on the MJ jury.

Sure if barf didn't have an image size upload limit :blush

Shucks. :(

MJ died a washed up, indebted drug addict. He was no role model, no hero, and no one for children to admire. Funny that folks ignore that. Did he have talent? Hell yeah. Was he a wholesome human and someone kids should look up to. Hell no. Get a grip people. A grown man who invites little boys to spend the night at his house. Please. Only his wealth at that time kept him out of jail. Money buys freedom and justice in America, in case you didn't know that.

Yep. If he had been a black-dyed-creamish guy, middle or lower class, maybe living in San Jose or Chicago or Indianapolis or Detroit, and had little boys spend the night with him in his bed, he would be in prison right now.

In the 27 years I have had my driver license, I have only been called for jury duty once and that was for a Grand Jury in Chicago. I was dismissed because the following Monday I was moving to Raleigh. I think it would an interesting experience to serve on a jury.
