San Jose resident Mark Henderson, 47, was arrested soon after the accident on suspicion of manslaughter, felony hit-and-run and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was driving south on Highway 1 when his pickup veered into the northbound lane, where Siebenmorgen was driving, the CHP said.

Her motorcycle did not collide with a truck...it should read... "was killed when she was struck by a truck"

Oh crud...this really sucks...every Monday I get on BARF after a weekend and always you see something sad like this.

Rest in Peace, fellow rider.
 
This is the saddest scenario of them all. She was just riding in her own lane and being a safe rider and this happens. The worst... RIP.:(
 
It hasn't typically been the case, but I hope this guy gets some real jail-time and that his life is forever effected by this event.


Too often these cases get lessened, this should not be the case.
 
Someone posted this to EFNet #motorcycles earlier today. It's a damn shame.

I hope the driver gets his due.
