RIP Tim Curry

I got dragged to a midnight showing of RHPS in about 78 by a young lady I was pursuing (pharmaceuticals may have been involved.) It was quite an experience. I had no idea what I was getting into.. let's just say I didn't "get it".
I've learned to appreciate it more since then.

RIP Tim. Such an outstanding actor and seemed like a legit human being and funny every time I heard him speak. Thinking about it this song popped in my head...

Being a RHPS regular back in the day I couldn't help it when I got to :16 and he signs "I want to come again" and audibly said "AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN!". Godspeed Doctor on your journey back to Transylvania.

I used to watch RHPS at the UC Theater on University in Berkeley. This was early `80's, and it played every weekend at midnight. There was the throwing of toast, and the whole bit. It was a lot of fun back then. Of course, I was usually on some sort of ridiculous drug back then, so that might have enhanced the fun factor.

Tim Curry was so much more than that performance, but I can certainly see why it stands out.
