I kinda like it. I wonder if it's porky. May not be too bad if they get it below 500lbs. 450 would be awesome.

They only made the original cofin tank café model with the siamese exhaust for 2 years, I believe. 1978-79(?)
I'm not a Harley guy, but I have a deep history and passion with and for this particular motorcycle.

Totally dig it except I would ditch the mini lolipop fairing and put a bit More flat trackish bars on it.

They should also make a version that looks a little like the VR1000.

if you're gonna buy a $19K HD sport bike, maybe buy a used V4S instead....?

if I wuz gonna get a used Ducati I’d go for a V4R or the Panigale V4 SP2, myself—but I don’t think I could get a factory-paint black one, so it’s the $19k H-D for me, I guess. :laughing

plus, the used Italian bikes just don’t ring the emotional bell that those of us who remember seeing brand-new XLCRs enjoy. no accounting for emotional stuff with motorcycles, I suppose? :dunno

seem to recall the VR1000 was a street bike in Poland? for homologation purposes, I guess …
Correct. They shipped them over, and shipped them back.

I think Parker or Springsteen kept one. I got close to one at Road America when my friend Chris Carr was riding one. Interesting bike to look over.

I like it. If they make what is essentially a buell again id be all over it
