Anyone know a good one? Preferrably in the East Bay, but willing to go as far as SF for something good. Please include reviews in your suggestions.

We will be in formal attire.

nothing says I love you like a large cherry limeade and an order of tots.

I'm willing to spend up to about $300. But I'm probably fucked because of how late it is lol.

We'll have to just go the day after or something.

You are going to have to do something romantic, to late for restaurant reservations. So candlelight and home cooked meal, or picnic in a scenic spot. Walk on the beach with hot chocolate. Bonfire at the beach? Do something special that she is into.

I highly recommend.

Also, there is DOPO (4293 Piedmont Ave) in Oakland. My top pick for Italian (if your girl doesn't like seafood/Asian that much) in the East Bay. It gets crowded quick so arrive early or expect to wait at least 30 minutes (opens @ 530).

Ms. BA and I like Salute in Richmond, but I don't even know if they are still in business. Bay views and you can walk along the shoreline if there is a moon out....well, we did, 15 years ago today, so I'm prejudiced. My best VD ever. And no, you won't get shot. Atmospheric, but not necessarily romantic, is Dead Fish in Crockett. They have really been making good food lately and have a lot of tables. Last time we went, the parking lot seemed very full yet we were seated immediatley. Probly not tonight tho.

EDIT: But the walk on the beach part I might consider, although she is preggers and hates the cold weather :(

I was thinking maybe driving up to Mt. Diablo and having a picnic up there in our car though lol.

Try Skates restaurant in Berkeley.

Good memories, for me that is.

Stay home and cook her dinner. Or have her cook.

Oh wait...

Seriously, your only real option is takeout at this point. Lots of higher-end places will do it.
