have you ever been to a weekly bike meet in Hollywood? there's like 200 bikers easily on an off night. once the cops show up they all scatter like roaches.

i thought ruff ryders was a rap group which consisted of DMX, the lox, styles-p, eve, jadakiss and so on?

if i were driving between that crowd, i wouldve started tailgated and get so irritated that id want to run those guys over:sniper

so are all "ruff ryder" riders the same (squidlike) or just a certain chapter?

My co-worker's brother just got into that crew, he had to do some initiation thing, anyone know what exactly has to be done? Just curious...

Yeah, you're right GhostRider, but it doesn't stop there. I think the RuffRyders bike crew is just a bunch of delinquents who idolize rap ideals like having lots of bling, getting drugged up, fucked up, wasted, or whatever, and basically pretending that they are "gangsta." Basically, they are all posers with poor education and no respect for anyone except themselves.

Naw, I've never bothered to show for the 'bikenight' events. I'd probably enjoy checking out all the tricked-out machinery in the parking lot, but beyond that, I'm thinking I don't much fit in with that crowd. Heck, I'd be picked out as 'geekboy' as soon as I was rolling into the parking lot, actually wearing some sort of protective gear.
The kind of rides I call, 500 miles of twisties all day backroad rides, I usually get about 5-10 takers based on maybe a couple hundred that read the invite on local boards.
Apparently, stunting down the freeway rides are way more popular these days. I guess I'm an old fuck, not up wit da times ;).

I could care less about their gear selection...I DO care a lot that they were blocking freeways and holding up traffic..

No shit.

Hell, there are times I ride in a tshirt and may even break out the shorts as well. I can even recall doing some wheelies and other sinful things dressed thusly. Not the brightest idea, but I know what roadrash is like and I gotta believe the Ruffrydas are familiar with falling off a motorcycle as well.

Blocking the road and fucking up things for other people though, that is fucked and wrong and it is wrong in exactly the same way that the police using airplanes and motorcycles to cut into freedom on the open road is wrong.

Funny how if you go far enough to the extreme you can meet yourself on the other side.

i prefer to think people that follow one another off twisty roads into ditches as lemmings. or even better all the people here that hang at the *bucks. as far as freeway blocking there has to be someone on the frreway to block it. watch the first vid again theres one car and it doesnt appear to be blocked by anything. one again its barf at its best. whats the differnce between doing stunts on an EMPTY FREEWAY and someone getting in over their head on a twisty road and throwing themselves into an oncoming car?
the only differnce i see is that instead of one person being affected by stupidity now you have several people affected due to a bike plowing through someones car. im not at all for people doing stunts on the freeway or blocking one, but it seems barf is becoming a lair for hypocrites to bash on other people.

oh and the generalizations and stereotyping on barf have to be the best anywhere.:laughing

I see one RR support vehicle at the front. Exit signs visible from the front and
I also see traffic on the opposite side in the opposing direction. From the shaky camera, I think that's a stack up of cars behind the motorcyclists that are videotaping.

I see people like that on 880 all the time blocking all lanes of traffic. Seriously a pain in the ass. These idiots need to go somewhere else before they ruin life for all the other riders out there.

I wonder if those guys realize their logo looks like one single 'B' ?

I was told by a friend of mine who spent some time back East that the Ruff Ryders started out as a real gang in New Jersey... that they are scary mo fo's back East... he said he doesn't know about the West Coast affiliates, but that people don't mess with them back East, because they ARE gangsta... no posing. :2cents

ROFLMAO

wonderful

I hope those guys stay on the freeways and not the back roads. They all will eventually meet the pavement and with no gear they will be out for a while.

Meanwhile I will be enjoying the back roads with good friends fun times and proper gear.

QFT

It is the same in L.A. So if any of you do get an urge to merge in an attempt at road rage, be prepared to take return fire.

Fuckin' thugs.

I used to drop by the San Fernando Valley bike nights when I lived down there... Easily fill a strip mall parking lot with hundreds of bikes. Also managed to get kicked out of every location that agreed to host the event.

... and I thought side shows were what happens at the @ the *$s parking lot...

:hand

I don't condone any illegal activity on a public road, but your generalizations based on what looked like a group of prospects and hangarounds are grossly exaggerated.

If you actually knew any of them, you would have an entirely different opinion.
