Back in the day when I first started riding in groups (this was in the olden days of pre-BARF and there was darkness with-out social media) we picked among us who would be the sacrificial lamb. The lamb was a rider with no points on their record, would take up the rear of the group, and when the cop lit us up, would pull over (VERY SLOWLY) to allow the pack to ride off to freedom. The lamb took the point and everyone else paid the fine.

We only had to used this one time.
