More from David Worthington :

Good evening,

Below is a quote from Dave

Hi this is David Stanton. On June 2nd at Thunderhill Raceway I had an accident that changed my life. My level of injury: T-5, Asia A. What this means is, I'm completely paralyzed from about 1.5 inches below my nipples with no sensation at all. My recovery continues to be a challenge, I've been hospitalized twice - and back to the ER several times due to many of the challenges that come with my injury. I have a long road ahead of me before I will be able to find my new normal. As soon as I recover from my current setbacks - I will be able to begin outpatient rehab. My immediate goal is to become stronger and to be able to transfer myself independently to my chair. Long term goal, to be healthy, drive, and to live a normal life again.

I've been racing for 22 years with the AFM, AMA, FIM and WERA. I loved being a part of these organizations and look forward to attending the track day benefit and auction on November 18th. I hope to see many of you out there. Thanks for the continued support.

Thank you for all of your help!

David (Worthington)

Everyone needs to note that the GROUP choices are different from normal track days too.
According to the info provided:
Advanced group (A group )=. Is called the EXPERIENCED group 1:50 or below lap times, wow!
B group is called the ADVANCED group
C group is called the Intermediate group.

The confusion sets in.....:|

However, considering that Dave has many MotoGp and AMA friends, I do believe that the FASTEST group will be super fast albeit very safe and that the slowest group may be very gentemanly and varied.:thumbup

See my post above, it is $50 to register at 3js then hit the donation button to donate $200 directly to Dave

In. I don't even care if I get to ride or not. :party

Dave Stanton Raffle Bike

If you weren't at the race this weekend, you might have missed this little tidbit of info: you could win a Yamaha WR250R!!!

Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. Amanda Hauns was collecting money at the track this weekend and I know she's working on a way to collect more money before Dave's track day on Nov. 18th. If I find out more, I'll post back here.
