Luckily i was able to install Winxp on my laptop without formatting my drive. It said it didnt support "upgrading" from W2K Adv server to XP but during installation it just overwrote the /winnt folder.
Anyways I'm planning to use it with a router so wont have to go thru configuring the WAn PPoE/miniport.

Folks you don't want cable. Cable is a shared medium meaning how ever populated your neighborhood with cable broadband users is means how many people detract from your slice of the bandwidth pie. DSL is much better.
