Anyone here wear an AT950? I'd like to pick up something for dual sport/supermoto use (already have an MX helmet for when it's all dirt) and this looks like a decent option.

Modular, has an inner visor too.

I used to really hate this guy, and after a recent thread went back and watched his videos. I'm not always in allignment with his views, but he seems much more well informed compared to most "influencers". In this video, he talks about the above helmet.

This is a cut and paste from another thread here on my thoughts I wrote a couple months ago. Looks like there is now a new finish from your pics, maybe they have addressed the fading????

Here is a little review after 9 months of living with the AT-950.

Positive
I find this helmet very comfortable. I can wear it 4 hrs with out any issues.
It was a nice looking helmet when new
I love the sun shade flip down thingy. I'm not buying another helmet without.
I think they use good antimicrobial foam. It doesn't stink after many hot sweaty, humid or rainy days in Asia.
Flip up function is nice in the heat. I always drink at stop lights in Asia.

Neutral, I do find the cheek pads a little tight but not bothersome. They do loosen up over time.

The negatives.
Ventilation/fog. I find that this helmet fogs up a lot. When cold or humid rainy. Wish it had better ventilation.
The flip up/down thingy, you gota check that it latches every time. There have been times when I caught it not latched. You can't just flip down and ride off like on the promotional videos.
The visor, I can't really use it due to height of my windshield and the air stream flowing over. The wobble is terrible.
The finish, 2 months in a closet, 3 months of every day wear and 4 months of weekend use and this is the most faded helmet I have ever owned. (I currently don't have it as Scorpion is replacing it under warranty). Between being easy to scratch and fading this is the worst finish of any helmet I have owned.

Conclusion/would I buy again. I'm just not sure. I think when the replacement helmet comes I'm guna make a trip to cycle gear and check out other modulars. Since I can't wear the visor on the street anyway I'm guna look what else is available before wearing the new one. I do like the helmet but I'm tempted to sell it new and unworn at a loss before it fades again(that or just spray pain it). I don't know, I guess all helmets are a compromise and this one has served me well. (NEW THOUGHTS 11/18) I wore the new helmet and it's now just as faded as the first one. Visibly fading in less than a month. I'm just not guna worry about it. If I had it to do again I wouldn't buy the high vis.

I prefer the icon variant helmets but my wife has the scorpion at950 and loves it she did take the visor off she prefers it that way but says the helmet is comfortable and quiet from her previous scorpion

I want to get exited about Scorpion helmets (I've tried) but I just don't understand the company. (frankly, I'm a little surprised they're still around)

I agree with her. My 950 is a lot quieter than my previous Scorpion 400. And I no longer use the visor either.

Mostly due to their schizophrenic marketing.
I met some of the players in the company several years back at WSBK @ Laguna.
They pilfrered some high end designers from Arai and Shoei......they had huge plans that just never seemed to take off.

AT950 update, There is a new AT950 snowmobile helmet out that uses a dual pane visor. I replaced my visor with one of these dual pane ones ($39). The fogging up issue has been 100% eliminated. The new visor is great in the daytime but has weird double reflections of lights at night. I'd recommend trying one if day riding and fogging is an issue for you. If riding a lot at night I'd pass due to the weird reflections.

I had the 950 snowmobile version for a bit, and it's a narrow head shape that didn't suit me. Otherwise, the helmet felt about right for its price point. I still had fogging issues though with the snowmobile dual pane visor though and mostly kept the visor up when I could.

I have the Battleflage version of this helmet. I only have about 1,500 miles on it. It fits well and has an interior visor which I like. I don't like that while riding my 990 the air flow catches the visor and shakes you head. It is very annoying. Also the last time I went to wear it the rubber strip on the lower edge of the helmet started to just come off. For fear of losing it, I pulled it off and plan to reglue it soon.

I think it has nice features and looks good, but is not made well.

If fogging is a big issue try a pinlock insert. My Caberg tourmax had one and it never fogged. Unfortunately something happened to mine and it wouldn't stick properly onto the faceshield and I never use it again. I just ride with goggles or crack the faceshield open a bit.
